Originally from Brooklyn NY, Dr. Krystal Monique studied Health and Physical education at Virginia State University where she obtained her Bachelors of science, followed by her Masters of science in Occupational Therapy from Howard University. Subsequently Dr. Krystal Monique went on to complete her Clinical Doctorate from Concordia University-Wisconsin.

As an occupational therapist, she has blended her passion for travel and service through mission work with underserved communities. From a young age, her commitment to helping others fostered strong leadership, advocacy, and a voice for herself and those around her.

As a first time twin mother, Dr. Krystal Monique became deeply aware of the health disparities affecting women of color and the challenges of postpartum life. Turning to journaling for clarity and calm, she recognized a gap in support during the fourth trimester—leading her to create "One Minute Mama: Self-Care for the Fourth Trimester". Grounded in grace and intentional reflection, her work encourages women to center themselves while navigating motherhood.
